National Installation
As part of the complete counting solution provided by Counting Technologies, we maintain a national team of experienced installers. Each installer has superior technical skills, and specially trained in the placement and network integration of the wireless counting system. Installation of the wireless counting systems in every location is available regardless of the number of locations. This convenience ensures a rapid and smooth installation of the system at a cost most likely to be less than what you can perform using internal staff.
Installation by Counting Technologies personnel is cost effective and recommended, but not a requirement for any counting system purchase. The installation procedures can vary slightly to accommodate the store-level technology, hours of operation, geographic distribution, and other factors, but our basic installation services include:
- Complete planning, scheduling, project management, and coordination with the client leadership team.
- Regular status emails for progress and current issues.
- Coordination of the installation with the store-level management to minimize any interruption.
- Experienced, efficient installers who ensure professional standards and a quality, tidy installation.
Installation Overview
From arrival to a location to exiting the location, approximately 30 minutes is required for the each installation. A breakdown is roughly the following:
- Greet & inform manager, locate doors and LAN switch. (5-7 minutes)
- Drill/screw counter to the entrance, then activate. (7-8 minutes)
- Affix and connect the Counter Manager to the LAN switch/router. (7-8 minutes)
- Log in to a local/network PC to verify connectivity to the LAN. (5 minutes)
- Gather equipment and exit. (2-4 minutes)
Installation Training
If requested, Counting Technologies' experienced installers can perform the counting system installations, but we also offer the opportunity to train any client's technical staff to perform the required tasks. Counting Technologies can send a trainer to the corporate office for training sessions, and provide supplemental Training Manuals (user, technical, and operational) for the
counting hardware and TrafficFlow software. 
Online training via a GoToMeeting is also a cost-effective option to in-person training. All IT or other installers can log in to view a guided presentation to discuss installation procedures and best practices, plus how to avoid common pitfalls that cost unnecessary on-site labor.
