DATAssurance™

No counting system is completely accurate. Especially with lower volume stores, (less than 1,000 customers per day) the percent of error attributed to employees and delivery personnel can represent a significant percent of daily traffic. By applying "Correction Factors" to the count data, the ability for the data to more accurately reflect the number of potential customers greatly increases.

Counting Technologies offers a proprietary DATAssurance™ service plan, that provides confidence that the traffic data being used for critical decisionmaking is the most accurate, reliable data possible. The DATAssurance™ service is a complete solution that provides quality assurance testing and review by both trained specialists and complex algorithms to adjust the data on a store-by store level.

Counting Technologies has a dedicated SQL Server administrator and statistician to maintain the DATAssurance™ processing of data.  In addition, the Alert Management is handled by multiple staff who continuously monitor for new alerts.  These technicians contact each store and immediately attempt to resolve the alert issue.  All processes and alerts are logged and reported to the client.

Counting Technologies recommends an interim server be established that allows Counting Technologies secure VPN access.  Counting Technologies would mirror the traffic data onto our servers in order to process the data using DATAssurance™ algorithms.  Traffic data would then be returned to a separate server, where only "cleaned" data would reside for integration with other systems.  Redundant back-up systems at Counting Technologies would archive both raw data and cleaned data on a daily basis.
