Off-Site Data Hosting
Off-Site hosting allows Our clients the ability to minimize the capitol investment and ongoing labor requirements necessary for managing the traffic data from thousands of retail locations. Through our Off-site Hosting Service, Our clients would limit their hardware responsibility to the wireless counting equipment located at each store. The data flow would be collected either completely apart from the Client's network, or pass through the corporate LAN and WAN and gathered on servers managed by Counting Technologies Corporation.
Connectivity may be accomplished in one of two ways; a Modem or LAN/WAN connectivity. The Modem option involves additional hardware connected to the Counter Manager of each store, which dials out directly to a Counting Technologies Data Center.
Modem Option
The LAN/WAN connectivity option would channel the traffic data to the Counting Technologies' Data Center through a secure VPN access or FTP server between our clients and Counting Technologies. With either option, the data would first be collected by Counting Technologies in order to perform QA tests such as completeness, as well as the option for Counting Technologies' DATAssurance™ services. No software would be required on our client's servers.
